Purified water system for pharmaceutical industry

DAWT·2022-05-09

System Introduction

Purified water used in the pharmaceutical industry, also known as deionized water (or desalinated water), usually refers to a process water that is prepared from urban tap water or surface water by means of reverse osmosis and other methods and does not contain any additives. . The country has very strict water requirements for the pharmaceutical industry, so the water produced by the purified water equipment used in the pharmaceutical industry needs to comply with the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" (2010 Edition). , The system adopts automatic control method, which is stable and reliable, exquisite and beautiful, and is a good choice for purified water equipment in pharmaceutical production and pharmaceutical industry. It can meet the requirements of purified water preparation and infusion preparation in pharmaceutical factories and hospitals. The purified water system in the pharmaceutical industry can be used for medical equipment, pharmaceutical preparations, in vitro diagnostic reagents, pharmaceutical water, blood purification, hemodialysis, infusion, biochemical products, medical sterile water, oral liquid water, disinfection rooms, hospital supply rooms, central water supply, etc.

Pure water equipment in the pharmaceutical industry

System principle

Before entering the RO, the raw water needs to be pretreated, mainly to remove the suspended solids, particulate matter, ions, organics, etc. in the water, so that the pretreated effluent meets the water inlet requirements of the RO membrane, avoids the RO membrane from being polluted, and prolongs the service life of the RO membrane. The pretreatment device mainly includes a multi-media filter, a softener and an activated carbon filter. Usually, if the conductivity and hardness of the raw water in the south are relatively low, the softener can be used for pretreatment. If the conductivity and hardness of the raw water in the north are relatively high, the pretreatment needs to use double softeners, which are operated in series and alternately regenerated.

The purified water equipment in the pharmaceutical industry adopts the RO reverse osmosis process, which has high desalination rate and stable effluent quality. The RO water production and flushing time can be set, and the water production time can be adjusted during the peak water consumption period to ensure stable water consumption. The secondary concentrated water is reused before returning to the primary RO to save water. Adding an EDI unit after RO allows further desalination. The conductivity of the product water using the RO/EDI process is lower than that of the RO/RO process.

In terms of control mode, PLC combined with human-machine interface is used to realize automatic control. The intelligent touch screen can be started with one button, with high stability, simple and convenient operation, clear picture, exquisite and beautiful.

The pretreatment system, water production system and distribution system of the purified water system are respectively equipped with circulating water circuits, and the water quality zones at all levels are set to discharge qualified water and unqualified water to the previous section to ensure stable and safe water quality. The system can conduct online detection of conductivity, pH and TOC, and is equipped with a water quality correction function and a minimum water quality warning function to ensure the continuous and stable operation of the system.
