Products of different varieties and molecular weights have different properties. Sludge dewatering mainly chooses cationic PAM.
1. The principle of flocculation
When PAM is used for flocculation, it is related to the surface properties of the flocculated species, especially the potentiodynamic potential, viscosity, turbidity and pH value of the suspension. The potentiodynamic potential of the particle surface is the reason for the inhibition of particle aggregation. Adding PAM with opposite surface charges, It can reduce the potentiodynamic potential and condense.
