System Overview

Since the reverse osmosis technology developed into a practical chemical unit operation in the late 1950s and early 1960s, its application field and scale have been continuously expanded, and it has been widely used in seawater desalination, brackish water desalination, household water purification and wastewater recycling. use in other fields.

The advantages of reverse osmosis technology:

1. Low energy consumption and significant economic benefits.

2. The system is flexible in application and convenient in operation and maintenance.

3. Different forms of system design can be flexibly adopted. Parallel connection can increase water production, series connection can improve desalination rate, and circulation or partial circulation can shorten the process flow and ensure stable operation of the system.

4. There is no need for a large amount of chemical treatment, no chemical waste liquid discharge, and no environmental pollution.

5. Long service life. The membrane is generally available for 3-5 years.

6. High raw water rate. The recovery rate of seawater and high-concentration brackish water can reach more than 60%. Generally, the recovery rate of brackish water can reach 65%-80%.

7. High desalination rate, the desalination rate of a single membrane can reach 99%, the desalination rate of the primary reverse osmosis system can generally be stabilized above 90%, and the desalination rate of the secondary reverse osmosis system can be stabilized above 98%.

8. High degree of automation, automatic shutdown in case of failure, with automatic protection function.
