In the production process of many industrial sectors, a large amount of waste heat is generated, which needs to be transferred to the natural environment with a heat transfer medium in time to ensure the normal operation of the production process. Because natural water has excellent heat transfer performance, low cost and abundant resources, it is used as a heat transfer medium for industrial waste heat. It is called cooling water in industrial production. Industrial cooling water is the largest user of industrial water in various countries. The physical and chemical properties of the cooling water outside the temperature have not changed significantly. If appropriate cooling measures are taken to form a recycling system, it is an important way to save industrial water.
1. The recycling efficiency of circulating cooling water is very low. In my country's general chemical industry, the concentration of circulating water is about 2 to 3 times, and the petrochemical industry is about 4 times. The concentration ratio of circulating water in developed countries is about 5 times. Compared with developed countries, the concentration ratio of circulating water in my country is lower. The low concentration ratio of circulating water means that the discharge of circulating water is large, the amount of supplementary water is large, and the water cost required by the circulating system is high.
2. The energy consumption of the circulating cooling water system is too large. At present, there are many deficiencies in the operation of the circulating cooling water system in the chemical industry, mainly including: in my country, the circulating cooling water system has not received enough attention, and the operation of the system lacks the support of the corresponding theory. The parameters of other operations have not been adjusted accordingly in different seasons.
3. The surplus of fan and circulating water is too large. The water supply capacity and water treatment capacity of pumps, fans and pipelines and the actual requirements have long existed "the phenomenon of large horse-drawn trolleys", resulting in a serious waste of energy consumption.
A cooling water system that uses water as a cooling medium and is recycled. It is mainly composed of cooling equipment, water pump and pipeline. After the cold water flows through the production equipment that needs to be cooled (often called heat exchange equipment, such as heat exchangers, condensers, and reactors), the temperature rises. When the heated cold water flows through the cooling equipment, the water temperature will drop, and it can be pumped back to the production equipment for reuse. The amount of cold water is greatly reduced, often saving more than 95%. Cooling water accounts for about 70% of industrial water consumption. Therefore, the circulating cooling water system plays a role in saving a large amount of industrial water.
