Using aluminum sulfate or sodium hydroxide solution with a concentration of 1%-2% as a regeneration agent, the filter material can be reused. It is a new type of fluorine removal equipment different from deionization methods (electrodialyzer, reverse osmosis).

After a period of operation, the natural mineral filter material is saturated with adsorption and exchange, and needs to be regenerated by a regeneration system. After regeneration, the performance of the filter material is restored to the original, and can be used repeatedly for a long time. The regenerant can be potassium aluminum sulfate (alum).
